“Project Soup”: A Reworked Night Market?
Riot Games has been quietly adding files for a brand new store system internally codenamed “Soup.”
At first glance, this might seem like a random internal placeholder, but dataminers have discovered that “Soup” actually has its own dedicated store tab and unique icon built into the main menu UI. Furthermore, it features a completely separate offer type called scoop_offer_DTO, which is capable of supporting both individual weapon skins and full bundles.
So, why do we think this is replacing or delaying the Night Market?
- Limited-Time Mechanics: The system is explicitly built to track whether a player has “viewed” all their offers, which is the exact same underlying logic used for the temporary Night Market event.

Since the release of the Celestial Fan and the Ignite Fan, the community has been begging for more variations of this melee archetype.
