The biggest event of the VALORANT year is rapidly approaching, and as expected, data miners have been hard at work digging through the game’s API. The highly anticipated VALORANT Champions 2026 bundle has officially been leaked, and it brings a few surprises that defy recent community rumors.
If you have been hoarding your VALORANT Points (VP) for the exclusive tournament skins, here is a complete breakdown of what is actually in the bundle, the upgrade levels, and how much it will likely cost you.
The Weapons: Phantom and Melee Only
Despite recent leaks and heavy community speculation suggesting that Riot Games might add a secondary firearm (like a pistol) to the Champions bundle, the API confirms that Riot is sticking to their established formula.
The Champions 2026 bundle will exclusively feature a Phantom and a Melee weapon.
Both weapons will feature the standard premium upgrade paths we have come to expect from Champions collections:
- Champions 2026 Phantom (4 Levels):
- Level 1: Base Model
- Level 2: Custom Sound Effects (SFX)
- Level 3: Custom Inspect and Kill Effects
- Level 4: The Champions Aura
- Champions 2026 Melee (3 Levels):
- Level 1: Base Model
- Level 2: Custom Animation Upgrade
- Level 3: The Champions Aura
What Happened to the Flex Cosmetic?
A notable absence in the current API leak is the “Flex” cosmetic. Previous bundles, including the massive Champions 2025 collection (which featured a Trophy Flex), included these extra high-tier items.
Currently, there is zero information regarding a Flex item for 2026. However, there is no need to panic just yet. Flex items historically have a habit of showing up later in the API or getting officially confirmed much closer to the bundle’s actual release date.
Expected Price and Release Date
Because the actual visuals and renders of the skins have not been decrypted yet, we can only estimate the price based on previous years and the current API structure.
- Champions 2022 (Phantom + Butterfly Knife): 6,263 VP
- Champions 2024 (Phantom + Blade Melee): 6,167 VP
Taking into account the rising costs of premium bundles and the potential for hidden additions, the community consensus and data tracker predictions place the Champions 2026 bundle at approximately 6,500 VP.
As for the release date, it entirely depends on the rotation of the current “Run It Back” collection. If the Run It Back bundle stays in the shop for 14 days, the Champions 2026 bundle will drop on September 16th. If Riot extends the shop rotation to 21 days, we will see the Champions bundle on September 23rd.
