GamerLegion has announced a temporary roster adjustment ahead of the IEM Beijing closed qualifier. Pavle “maden” Bošković will stand in for the European squad, replacing Sebastian “Tauson” Tauson, who is currently unavailable due to health reasons.
Filling the gap
The absence of Tauson removes a consistent performer from the GamerLegion lineup. Over his nearly two-year tenure with the organization, he has maintained his position as the third highest-rated player on the active roster.
To offset this loss, GamerLegion has called upon an experienced rifler. Maden has moved in and out of the tier-1 circuit since his time with ENCE concluded in December 2023. The Montenegrin player has most recently completed short stints with Falcons, Zero Tenacity, and fnatic. He will now attempt to help his temporary team secure a spot in one of the year’s most lucrative tournaments.
High stakes in the closed qualifier
GamerLegion begins their qualification run tomorrow with an opening match against Nuclear TigeRES. The bracket is highly competitive, featuring established organizations such as MIBR, 3DMAX, HEROIC, magic, BIG, paiN, and B8.
With only two tickets available, the participating teams are fighting for a chance to compete at the $1,250,000 main event scheduled for November in Beijing.
