The group stage of BLAST Open Porto 2026 reached a critical juncture over the weekend at the BLAST Studios in Copenhagen. Three days of lower bracket eliminations and upper bracket qualification matches concluded with several key contenders falling short of next week’s playoffs in Portugal, headlined by the departures of Legacy and Natus Vincere.
Elimination Sunday seals fates for NAVI and Legacy
Sunday’s matches settled the lower bracket picture, ending the tournament runs for four teams. Natus Vincere exited the competition following a 0-2 defeat against G2. NAVI had rebounded on Friday with a 2-0 victory against paiN to stay alive, but could not find answers against G2 on Sunday.
Legacy suffered a similar fate despite two closely contested three-map series over the weekend. After falling 1-2 to Falcons in the upper bracket on Saturday, the Brazilian side met Vitality in a Sunday elimination series. Legacy pushed the series the distance but ultimately fell 1-2, bringing an end to their tournament run.
Elsewhere in the lower bracket, Aurora secured a 2-0 victory over M80, while FUT eliminated Inner Circle in a clean 2-0 sweep.

ZywOo rebounds as individual leaders hold ground
Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut showed significant improvement following his opening-round struggles against Inner Circle, where he posted a career-low 0.78 rating. Across the weekend victories against 9z and Legacy, the French AWPer stabilized his numbers, bringing his tournament average up to a 1.16 rating with a +23 kill-death differential over seven maps.
At the top of the individual standings, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets maintained the highest rating of the event at 1.78 (+30 K-D differential) across four maps for Spirit. Falcons AWPer Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov sits second with a 1.60 rating and a tournament-high +55 differential over six maps, followed by FURIA’s Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato at a 1.58 rating across four maps.
Monday schedule sets final playoff berths
The Copenhagen studio phase concludes on Monday, August 31, with four series that will finalize seeding and determine the last spots for the playoffs in Portugal.
