Riot Games has officially dropped the reveal trailer for the brand new Aeris skin bundle, and it is shaping up to be one of the most visually unique collections in VALORANT history.
Expected to be classified as an Ultra-tier bundle (which means players should prepare for a premium price tag), the Aeris collection introduces a heavy card-themed aesthetic, dynamic unique animations, and a highly anticipated transforming melee weapon. Here is everything we noticed from the official reveal trailer.
The Aeris Bundle Lineup & Variants
The full weapon lineup for the Aeris bundle is expected to include:
- Vandal
- Guardian
- Marshal
- Bucky
- Transforming Melee
Based on the teaser and the full trailer, the bundle will feature four distinct color variants: Blue, Pink, Purple, and Red. What makes this particularly interesting is that each colorway appears to have a specific persona or character attached to it, heavily playing into the tarot or playing-card theme seen throughout the trailer.
A Transforming Card Melee
The absolute standout of the bundle is the melee weapon. It is confirmed to be a transforming cosmetic, shifting between two very distinct states.
- Default Form: A relatively simple, sleek dagger.
- Transformed Form: A massive, dual-handed sword (shown briefly in the gameplay footage).
The animations tied to this melee are incredibly flashy. When equipping or inspecting the weapon, the blade appears to dematerialize into a flurry of floating cards before reforming into the weapon in your hands.
Custom Reloads, Finishers, and a Possible “Flex”
Because the trailer is heavily stylized with music, it is hard to pinpoint the exact audio cues of the guns just yet, but the visual animations are front and center.
- Custom Reloads: During the Vandal gameplay, you can clearly see a unique reload animation where the agent physically throws a card directly into the weapon’s magazine slot.
- The Finisher: The final kill finisher summons a massive whirlwind of glowing cards flying around the enemy, culminating in a powerful beam of light shooting up into the sky with a unique logo projected at the top.
- A New Flex?: In one of the clips, Omen secures a kill with the Purple Guardian, and immediately after, a mysterious glowing blue object appears in his hands. While this could be an animation tied to the melee, many in the community suspect this is a new Flex cosmetic, similar to the Trophy Flex leaked for Champions 2026.
