MOUZ defeated Spirit three maps to one in Malta to win the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 Finals. The victory marks the first trophy for the organization in 17 months, following their success at PGL Cluj-Napoca in 2025. The result also brings an end to an eight-match losing streak for MOUZ against the Russian squad.
Breaking the losing streak
The grand final began with MOUZ taking a quick 2-0 lead in the series. They secured Dust2 with a 13-8 scoreline and followed it with a dominant 13-4 performance on Mirage. Spirit struggled to find their rhythm during the opening maps, with star player Danil “donk” Kryshkovets posting unusually low statistics. Following Mirage, donk recorded his fifth consecutive map with a negative kill-to-death ratio for the first time in his career.
Spirit responded on Ancient, a map where they held a seven-match winning streak prior to the grand final. A stronger showing from donk helped Spirit recover from a 6-9 deficit to win 13-9 and push the series to a fourth map.
Nuke proved to be a highly contested battleground. MOUZ established an early 6-4 advantage on the attacking side, but a triple kill from Boris “magixx” Vorobiev with a Five-SeveN in a three-versus-five situation kept Spirit in contention. The teams traded rounds to tie the game at 10-10 before MOUZ locked down their defense. Lotan “Spinx” Giladi secured four kills in a decisive round against pistols to reach match point, leading to a 13-10 victory for MOUZ.
First career MVP for Spinx
The series was defined by the individual performance of Spinx, who earned his first career HLTV Most Valuable Player award. The Israeli rifler finished the final with a 1.54 rating, 78 kills, and an 89.3 average damage per round. He outperformed teammate Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás in the MVP race due to his high statistical impact across all four maps in the grand final.
Despite being a four-time Top 20 player, this is the first MVP medal for Spinx. His elevated form arrives during the team’s first event playing alongside returning member Oldřich “PR” Nový.
