BC.Game secured a 13-5 victory against the Finnish squad ROUNDS on Cache during their opening best of one match at the Elisa Esports Breakout Series 1 in Helsinki, Finland. The result provides a successful start for the newly assembled roster in their first official match in two months.
A dominating performance on Cache
Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev dictated the pace of the game, finishing the map with a 1.65 rating, 112.9 average damage per round, and 19 kills.
He was closely supported by Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold, who posted a 1.57 rating and 17 kills. The match marked the official debuts of Emil “Magisk” Reif and Ayush “mzinho” Batbold, who both delivered stable performances with ratings of 1.09 and 1.01 to help secure the win.
The team established a commanding 9-3 lead in the first half and quickly closed out the game in the second, limiting ROUNDS to just five total rounds.
Grinding points from the bottom
The organization is currently rebuilding its approach after an expensive strategy failed earlier this year. BC.Game initially acquired the Portuguese core of António “aragornN” Barbosa, Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes, and Adones “krazy” Nobre to quickly gather Valve Regional Standings points. After that roster failed to qualify for the Major in Cologne, the organization pivoted to a rebuild centered entirely around s1mple.
By participating in this Tier 2 Valve sanctioned event, which features a 15,000 euro prize pool, BC.Game aims to acquire the necessary match experience and regional points to eventually return to top-tier Counter-Strike. The team will continue their group stage run today against HAVU and Trainwrecks.
