After the conclusion of both the Challengers and Legends Stage, we’ve now reached the much-awaited playoff stage having cut down the competition to only eight teams. That also means the tournament is moving into the massive Jeunesse Arena, which has a capacity of up to 18.000 people.
Spirit eliminate Team Liquid from the IEM Rio Major
With FaZe and Vitality out of the Major, the pressure is on the two CIS giants in NAVI and Cloud9 to take the overall win. Looking at the brackets, Cloud9 has the easier path towards the Grand Final squaring up against the likes of Outsiders, Fnatic and MOUZ – while NAVI is set to meet FURIA and after that the winner of Heroic vs Spirit.
