The grueling Swiss stage of the XSE Pro League officially drew to a close yesterday, July 5th, with FaZe and BIG successfully navigating the gauntlet to secure their well-deserved spots in the playoffs.
FaZe punched their playoff ticket with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over EYEBALLERS, while BIG secured their spot by sweeping B8 2-0.
A dream debut for JBOEN
The standout storyline of the group stage has undoubtedly been the explosive debut of Jason “JBOEN” Boe Nielsen. Brought in on loan from BIG to step into the massive shoes of broky as FaZe’s primary AWPer for the remainder of 2026, the young Dane has instantly silenced any doubters.
JBOEN left a spectacular mark on the server during the Swiss stage, boasting a blistering 1.35 rating and a +63 kill-death difference across nine maps. If this opening performance is any indicator, FaZe has found a lethal weapon to help carry them through the rest of the season.

The bracket phase shifts into gear this week at the XSE Pro League, transitioning into a single-elimination bracket. The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be played as best-of-three (bo3) series, culminating in a grueling best-of-five (bo5) Grand Final on Sunday.
