After defeating PARIVISION to secure their 14th consecutive win, Vitality’s mezii responded to NAVI’s recent rise.

When asked about the teams that can challenge Vitality, mezii singled out NAVI in a field of competitors.

Everyone’s kind of on the same level”, mezii said in the post-match interview. “NAVI said they can win this tournament, […] maybe they’re getting a bit overconfident, we’ll see when they play them.

He was responding to Aleksib’s interview, when he said NAVI were confident to take the trophy.

NAVI emerging in a Vitality era

Vitality have had no challengers since the start of IEM Krakow 2026. They have gone on a run of epic proportions, garnering 14 consecutive series wins and three consecutive tournament wins.

During that period, ZywOo has averaged a 1.44 HLTV rating with an absurd 0.89 KPR. In this seeding match against PARIVISION, he won his first 1v5 clutch of the year to get his team the lead.

However, NAVI have quietly risen in this time. They won their first event since 2024, winning ESL Pro league Season 23 with makazze MVP. At BLAST Open, they’ve already beaten Falcons and Aurora.

With both teams topping their group, if they do their job both teams will face each other in the grand final for the first time in 2026. It will also be their next grand final meeting since IEM Cologne 2024.
