FaZe bench NEO two days before the start of BLAST Rotterdam

They also said that their analyst will stand in as coach, while they “evaluate our options for the future.”

The end of the Polish legend’s tenure as FaZe Clan’s coach has arrived. He is benched after being FaZe’s coach since July 2023.

“Filip, thank you for nearly 3 years of hard work, dedication, and unforgettable memories,” said FaZe in their statement on X.

FaZe only said they are “parting ways” with NEO, leaving open the status of his contract.

At BLAST Rotterdam, FaZe will have GruBy, their analyst, stand in as coach for the event, while FaZe “evaluate their options”. They used this same expression when benching EliGE, and then proceeded to trade him for Twistzz quickly afterwards.

Hail Mary to make the Major?

After their four consecutive group stage exits to start 2026, FaZe are in desperate need of wins to make it to the upcoming Major.

This change could be a change of direction for FaZe to try and make a gamble to improve their fortunes, in what remains of the first season of 2026.
