BC.Game won ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe Cup 2 over Alliance in the grand final. It is the team’s first title since adding Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev.

It books their place at the ECL Europe Season 50 Finals on November 18th–20th, where an ESL Pro League Season 23 berth is on the line.

Carrying his team

BC.Game were routed by Alliance in the upper bracket final with 13–3 and 13–6 scorelines. The rematch for the title started the same way, Alliance took map one 13–8. From there BC.Game tightened up, traded better in mid rounds, and closed the last two maps 13–9 and 13–6 to seal the trophy.

Across the tournament s1mple carried serious weight, averaging a 1.43 rating over 14 maps. In the grand final his output dipped to 1.13, and that is the important bit, others filled the gap. aNdu and nexa topped the team on the day, a sign that BC.Game can win series even when the superstar is kept closer to earth.
