Counter-Strike insider Vladislav Gromov reports on X that North American side Wildcard is set to replace South African veteran Aran “Sonic” Groesbeek. According to his post, Sonic will make way for Polish rifler Maciej “F1KU” Miklas, who is currently on the bench at OG.
On paper the swap looks modest. In 2025 Sonic has averaged a 1.08 rating, while F1KU sits just behind at 1.07. Both players fill rifler roles and bring average international experience, so the move reads less like a numbers upgrade and more like a shift in profile and chemistry.
