Brazilian CS2 team ODDIK has officially announced the signing of Marcelo “coldzera” David. The move comes shortly after his departure from RED Canids, where his contract recently ended. The transfer was first reported by Dust2.com.br and has now been confirmed by the organization.
coldzera is one of the most experienced players in the scene, with a long career that includes two HLTV Player of the Year titles. His time with RED Canids included a win at the CBCS Masters 2024 Finals and appearances in events like ESL Pro League Season 20. Most of his impact came in the early months, as the team struggled to maintain strong results later in the year and missed out on qualifying for the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
His specific role within ODDIK hasn’t been confirmed yet. While he played as an AWPer at RED Canids, ODDIK already fields Adriano “WOOD7” Cerato as their primary AWPer and in-game leader. It’s expected that coldzera will return to rifling, the role where he made his name.
ODDIK’s Current Lineup and Recent Results
With coldzera now on the roster, ODDIK’s active lineup is:
- Adriano “WOOD7” Cerato
- Fillipe “pancc” Martins
- João “naitte” Maia
- Italo “ksloks” Meinberg
- Marcelo “coldzera” David
- Coach: Caio “CX1” Coutinho
Benched: Victor “togs” Rapassi, João “matios” Guedes
ODDIK come into this move following a strong end to the season. The team won the KaBuM! Prime League, placed second in two Thunderpick South America Series events, and narrowly missed the playoffs at PGL Astana. Adding coldzera gives them both experience and firepower as they look ahead to future competitions.
