The Brazilian veteran’s time with the team ends by mutual agreement.

Brazilian organization ODDIK have announced the departure of Marcelo “coldzera” David from their Counter-Strike 2 roster. The move, confirmed through the team’s official Twitter account, ends the two-time HLTV Player of the Year’s short tenure with the squad after just three months.

“We inform that, by mutual agreement, the athlete @coldzera is no longer part of our CS2 team roster. We thank the player for his brief time with ODDIK and wish him success in his future endeavors,” the organization wrote.

A short and challenging stint

coldzera joined ODDIK in July 2025 following his departure from RED Canids, where he spent nearly a year as the team’s main AWPer. Upon joining ODDIK, the 30-year-old shifted back to rifling duties and posted a 1.11 rating across 94 maps, showing flashes of the skill that once made him one of the world’s best players.

Despite his individual performances, ODDIK struggled to find consistent success. The team endured early exits in several South American events. Their only international appearance came at Fragadelphia Fragville, where they finished in fourth place.

Narrow miss for the Major

ODDIK came close to qualifying for the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, falling just short of a qualification spot. The team ended the Americas cycle narrowly behind RED Canids, missing the final invite by 16 VRS points in Valve’s ranking system.

Internal changes continue

coldzera’s exit follows another roster adjustment within ODDIK. Just a week earlier, the organization announced that Fillipe “pancc” Martins would be benched until the end of ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup 4. Academy player Vitor “Ceruttera” Cerutti stepped in for that event, while head coach Caio “CX1” Coutinho temporarily filled coldzera’s spot. ODDIK went on to exit the event early after two losses.

Current ODDIK roster

  • João “naitte” Maia
  • Adriano “WOOD7” Cerato
  • Italo “ksloks” Meinberg
  • Caio “CX1” Coutinho (coach)

Benched: João “matios” Guedes, Victor “togs” Rapassi, Fillipe “pancc” Martins

The organization has not yet announced a permanent replacement for coldzera. His next destination also remains uncertain, though fans are already speculating whether the Brazilian legend will continue competing or move into a different role within the scene.
