Fnatic to acquire 22-year-old rifler, according to insider

blameF and company are reportedly getting a new teammate.

Fnatic may soon finalize its Counter-Strike roster with the addition of Cai “CYPHER” Watson, according to insider GromovCS.

The British rifler is reportedly on his way from BC.Game, where he has played since February, following a short and unstable stint at BLEED under head coach Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović.

CYPHER also briefly represented TSM after first making waves with Into the Breach during 2023.

Replacing MATYS

Fnatic has been one man short since selling Matúš “MATYS” Šimko to G2 earlier this month. If the deal goes through, the 22-year-old would complete the new-look lineup.

The British-Swedish organisation currently finds itself ranked 29th on the VRS leaderboard, far from its historic pedigree.

Their position outside the Top 25 means no direct invites for the big tournaments, and the team has yet to appear at a single tier-one event in 2025.

If confirmed, Fnatic’s updated roster will be:

Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
Benjamin “blameF” Bremer
Rodion “fear” Smyk
Dmytro “jambo” Semera
Cai “CYPHER” Watson

Miks “Independent” Siliņš (coach)
