Goodbye flusha: Swedish legend retire
Robin "flusha" Rönnquist announced his retirement today on Twitter.
One of the most successful CS:GO players of all time has decided to hang up the mouse. 30-year-old Robin "flusha" Rönnquist announced his retirement today in a short post on Twitter.
It was on Fnatic that flusha found success, where he won three Majors in 2013 and 2015. Together with players such as JW, olofmeister, and KRIMZ he was part of an era, where Sweden dominated the world of CS:GO. On an individual level, Robin "flusha" Rönnquist was awarded the Major MVP of ESL One Cologne 2015 and was named the second-best player of 2014 by HLTV in their yearly rankings.
His last big trophy came in 2020 when Fnatic won ESL Pro League Season 11. In 2021 flusha ended his tenure at Fnatic and has since played at minor teams such as GORILLAZ, Hellslayers, and EYEBALLERS.
Robin "flusha" Rönnquist was throughout his career also called "Señor Vac" due to his many incredible plays, where his excellent game sense made him able to predict his opponents' movement. We leave you with these highlights of one of the most successful and important players in CS:GO history.
