Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy is back at the top level of Counter-Strike after a long stint on the sidelines.
The former NAVI star has joined Virtus.pro during the off-season and is now ready to return to elite competition.
Ahead of FISSURE Playground 1, we caught up with Perfecto, who was happy to share that he’s returned to the roles he feels most comfortable in.
– I have come back to my old roles – B anchor and lurker. They are my main roles. I’m really happy coming back to these, and I will just try to do my best, Perfecto told Pley.

The 25-year-old rifler revealed that he had multiple options this off-season but ultimately chose to join up with familiar faces at Virtus.pro.
When asked about his decision, he explained:
– They are good guys. Actually, I have not had a big problem adapting [to the VP team], because I have known them all for like five years maybe.
– After I became a free agent, I had like five good offers. I chose Virtus.pro because it’s my native language. So, it’s a good adaptation for me to make a comeback… They also have tier 1 invites for every tournament.
Perfecto will get his debut in the Virtus.pro jersey today at 17:00 CET when the CIS squad kick off their campaign at FISSURE Playground 1.
