Falcons are the champions of PGL Bucharest 2025, after the Saudi-backed squad defeated G2 in dominant fashion in Sunday’s grand final.
In the title-decider, the Danny “zonic” Sørensen-led roster swept G2 3-0, keeping Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski and his team from reaching double digits on all three maps.

First title for Falcons
The win marks Falcons’ first-ever LAN trophy in Counter-Strike, with zonic and company securing $400,000 in prize money for the title.
The breakthrough comes at a much-needed time for the team, following a rough stretch of results heading into the tournament. Even their start at PGL Bucharest was shaky, losing their opening two matches before going on a stellar 6-0 run to claim the trophy.
Final dance for the current roster?
Despite the success, this is likely the final showing for the current Falcons lineup.
Reports suggest the organization has already secured the signing of G2 star Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, and are also targeting Maxim “kyuosuke” Lukin, the breakout talent from Spirit.
