Nonetheless, it was exactly what the guys from ECSTATIC experienced yesterday going through a regular Counter-Strike marathon. Here the Danish squad featured in no less than two Bo3 series and one Bo5 Grand Final throughout Wednesday, something that also caught the eye of the CS:GO elite with the Vitality captain Dan “apEX” Madesclaire reacting to it on Twitter.
A title and a hattrick in the bag
They started off the day by beating the Ukrainians from Monte in the Semifinal at European Pro League Season 5, where they right after jumped into the Bo5 title decider against iNation. A match which ECSTATIC won 3-1 after a strong showing by Casper “Cabbi” Jensen, who eventually ended up racking up 202 total kills in one day.
Despite winning their first title in over a year, ECSTATIC couldn’t pop the champagne just yet because, as their schedule clearly showed that they still had one more match to play this Wednesday.
At around 19:00 (CET), ECSTATIC plugged in their mouse and keyboard once again – this time at ESL Challenger League Season 44 where a tough matchup against Kenny “kennyS” Schrub and Falcons waited.
In their third series of the day, the Danish squad managed to seal a spectacular hattrick by defeating Falcons 2-1 in an impressive re-sweep.
