Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný announces retirement from professional Counter-Strike

Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný, a professional Counter-Strike player from the Czech Republic, has announced his retirement from active competition. He shared the news via Twitter, confirming his intention to step away from playing and transition into a coaching or analyst position.

In his public statement, Šťastný noted that the decision was difficult but necessary, citing a decline in his energy and motivation to continue as a player. He also reflected on his career choices and expressed a desire to remain involved in the competitive scene.

Šťastný experienced a prominent period of his career while playing for the organization MOUZ. During his tenure with the team, he achieved significant tournament placements and was individually recognized, ranking 14th on the HLTV Top 20 Players of the Year list in 2018 and 16th in 2017.
