Swedish rifler Isak steps down from competition following Metizport exit

Isak “isak” Fahlén has announced a break from professional Counter-Strike 2. The Swedish player confirmed his departure from Metizport following a mutual decision to let his contract expire.

Prioritizing personal health over the upcoming season

In a public statement on Twitter regarding his departure, the 24-year-old explained that stepping away from official matches was necessary for his well-being. “I’m gonna take a break for the next season, I feel like I need to put myself first for the first time in my career. One of the toughest decisions I’ve done but this is the right decision for me,” he wrote. He further stated his intention to use the time away to focus on himself and ensure he returns healthier.

Leaving Metizport on amicable terms

The split between the player and the Swedish organization is mutual. Fahlén noted that Metizport treated him well throughout his tenure and expressed his appreciation for both his former teammates and the management staff. While his professional career is on pause, he indicated that he may occasionally stream during his time off. The roster move leaves Metizport searching for a new final piece to complete their starting lineup ahead of the next season.
