Spirit reach Bounty final after close FaZe series

Team Spirit survived a thriller series against FaZe Clan, pulling out a clutch win from the brink of defeat. FaZe almost capitalized on an underperforming Daniil ‘donk’ Kryskhovets.

Spirit won the first map of Dust2 with ease, but FaZe replied by running away with their pick of Cache in the final stages. The decider of Anubis began with them taking a 6-1 lead.

FaZe kept their lead intact, winning the half and the second pistol to go up 10-5. Then, Spirit went on a run of T-side rounds that saw them tie the game at 11-11.

Spirit’s AWP and supportive talent got them over the line, despite donk’s disappearance. Sidekick Myroslav ‘zont1x’ Plakhotia stepped up with a 1.46 rating to get Spirit to the final.

MOUZ eliminate Astralis with inconsistent ryu

Astralis lost to MOUZ in convincing fashion in the last two maps, reigniting benching conversation about Gytis ‘ryu’ Glušauskas, who had the worst round swing percentage in the series.

Astralis had a great start on Ancient, winning the map 13-6 to put themselves in pole position thanks to a stellar Jakob ‘jabbi’ Nygaard. However, it fell apart for them on Dust2 and Mirage losing swiftly on both.

MOUZ reach the final with a strong team performance since signing Oldřich ‘PR’ Nový. Ádám ‘torzsi’ Torzsás continued his dominant form to become the main MVP candidate for the Bounty.
