Snax moves to inactive roster on GamerLegion

After failing to produce consistent results, GamerLegion’s in-game leader is now benched.

Janusz ‘Snax’ Pogorzelski is now benched on GamerLegion, after rejoining the team in December 2025. GamerLegion’s accompanying statement does not clarify whose decision it was.

Major qualification failure

GamerLegion had a promising start to the season, almost defeating MOUZ in a best-of-three series at the Esports World Cup in Paris, despite losing their prized anchor player, Oldřich ‘PR’ Nový, to MOUZ.

However, GamerLegion failed to produce any consistent results whatsoever, not reaching the playoffs of any tournament barring their recent final run in 1win Private Club Season 1, but it was too late by then. As of today, they are given a 2.2% chance and a 0.5% chance to qualify for the Major, according to HLTV and MischiefCS2, respectively.

Snax began his transition to leading in 2023 on GamerLegion, a mid-tier team at the team, before joining G2 Esports, where he would win multiple Tier-1 trophies including the BLAST World Finals 2024.

Snax would then rejoin GamerLegion in 2025, but has failed to produce results good enough for the critical PGL Singapore Major qualification.

Contractual and interpersonal issues with players

GamerLegion came under scrutiny in April 2026, when HLTV released a piece that related various players’ negative experiences with GamerLegion’s management and work environment.

The difficulties for players went so far, that the 2023 roster considered not even playing their final against Team Vitality at the 2023 BLAST Paris Major, as well as various other contractual issues.
