Singapore to host first BLAST Premier Open of 2027

BLAST has announced that the first BLAST Premier Open of 2027 will be held in Singapore from March 15 to March 28. The Counter-Strike tournament will feature 16 teams competing for a total prize pool of $1.25 million.

This upcoming tournament marks the third event BLAST has hosted in the city, following the BLAST Premier World Final 2024 and the BLAST Dota Slam Singapore 2025. The BLAST Premier Open Singapore 2027 will serve as the first arena Counter-Strike event of the year for the tournament organizer.

Tournament structure and schedule

Unlike previous iterations of the Open that began in Copenhagen and traveled to a new location for the playoffs, the 2027 event will be fully LAN-based and held exclusively in Singapore from start to finish.

Additionally, the tournament will feature a $400,000 acceptance fee pool. This specific pool is part of a new team incentive structure that BLAST outlined earlier this year for the 2027 season and beyond. Further details regarding the event and the new mechanics are available in the 2027 handbook on the official BLAST website.
