The victory became a reality this Sunday evening as the Portuguese squad dismantled B8 2-0 in the grand final, wrapping up an undefeated run at the Polish LAN.
SAW dominated the series with a 13-3 win on Ancient followed by a commanding 13-5 on Nuke, with Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes leading the charge.
The 31-year-old SAW veteran finished the grand final with an impressive 1.56 rating, crucial to securing the team’s overwhelming victory.
