PARIVISION has been the defining wildcard of the 2026 Counter-Strike season. After shocking the scene by winning BLAST Bounty, the first Tier 1 event of the year, the young Russian squad has experienced a roller coaster of up and down performances. Now deep into the BLAST Open Rotterdam playoffs, they have already secured impressive victories against NIP and Spirit before dropping their direct semi-final spot to Team Vitality. But to the enjoyment of the team, their results in 2026 has now secured them a Stage 3 spot at the IEM Cologne Major in June.
Anchored by the veteran experience of in-game leader Dzhami “Jame” Ali and coach Dastan “dastan” Aqbaev, the roster relies on the raw firepower of its young core: Andrey “BELCHONOKK” Yasinskiy, Vladislav “xiELO” Lysov, Emil “nota” Moskvitin, and Ivan “zweih” Gogin. Despite their rapid ascent to the top tier of competitive CS, the most significant victory for the team might just be the peace of mind they have recently earned.
For Dastan, skipping the grueling lower-tier qualifiers to directly reach Stage 3 of the upcoming Major in Cologne this June is a massive weight off the team’s shoulders.
When we see right now Tier 2 events in Bucharest, in Belgrade, in Portugal, the people are fighting and I know that I don’t want to be in those games,” Dastan explained. “It’s very stressful, and I’m trying to be happy in this comfortable moment that we can win, lose, and it’s okay.
Beating the odds to Stage 3
For PARIVISION, the relief of securing a Stage 3 invite is profound. According to the coach, the team’s goals for 2026 were originally to simply break into the Top 10. Fueled by their early BLAST Bounty victory, they have far exceeded those expectations.
It goes very nice. It’s above our expectations,” Dastan said. “Our goal top 10 by year. Now we are closer to top five.
Reaching this point was no easy feat. Just a few months prior, the prospect of making the Major at all seemed distant.
Four months ago we had 2% to go to Major, and now when we had chance to be in Stage 3 we don’t want to be the last team to lose this opportunity, Dastan noted. Earning this spot brings crucial support for the entire organization, but it also carries competitive prestige as they look toward June. First of all, it’s money for my guys, for players, money for the organization, because this money also will help us in the future. But it’s some elite, like inner honor, we are a Stage 3 team. It was a good season. It’s also Cologne Major, and it’s nice to be in this tournament without getting pressured by getting Major.
A peaceful Quarter-Final against Falcons
This newfound security provides a massive developmental advantage for a rookie-heavy roster. The contrast to their earlier days is stark.
In PARIVISION half a year ago it was different, every match matters in internet online, and after that this life is super nice, Dastan reflected.

As PARIVISION prepares to face Team Falcons in the Quarter-Finals of BLAST Open Rotterdam, they do so entirely unburdened by external pressure. The team has already beaten Falcons twice this year, but Dastan knows this matchup brings a different dynamic now that both teams have secured their Major status.
I think it will be harder now,” Dastan admitted. “They also don’t have pressure because of Stage 3 and they feel they are playing better right now than before.
Despite the challenge, the coach remains focused on the positives of playing top-tier Counter-Strike without the looming threat of missing the most important event of the year.
I think the atmosphere right now is pretty peaceful because everyone thought it will be a Stage 3 fight, and now everyone is smiling,” Dastan said. It’s nice.
