In mid-April, YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025 will take place as several top-tier Counter-Strike teams travel to Doha, Qatar, to battle for the title and a $300,000 first-place prize.
This will be YaLLa’s first top-tier event of the year, positioned between two major tournaments—PGL Bucharest and IEM Melbourne—making for a packed schedule for some of the competing teams.
Among the most eye-catching names on the team list are Astralis, Eternal Fire, and Virtus.pro.

Dates and location
The event will run from April 16th to April 19th 2025, and is set to be played in Doha, Qatar.
Format
- Group Stage:
- Two round-robin format groups
▪ Each group has 6 teams
▪ All teams play each other once
▪ All matches are Bo1 - The top three teams from each group advance to the Playoffs:
▪ Group stage winners advance to the Semifinals
▪ Group stage runners-up advance to the Quarterfinals as the High Seeds
▪ Group stage 3rd place teams advance to the Quarterfinals as the Low Seeds

Prize Pool Distribution
The $600.000 prize pool at YaLLa Compass Qatar will be divided in the following way:
- 1st place: $300,000
- 2nd place: $84,000
- 3rd–4th place: $42,000
- 5th–6th place: $30,000
- 7th–8th place: $12,000
- 9th–10th place: $12,000
- 11th–12th place: $12,000
(50/50 split between prize winnings and club rewards)
