Experienced Counter-Strike analyst Mathieu “Maniac” Quiquerez will no longer be involved in PGL events, the tournament organizer confirmed on Thursday.
This decision follows recent revelations that multiple women have accused Quiquerez of sexual assault at an esports after-party. The alleged incidents occurred in London after the BLAST Premier Spring Final.
The women have accused him of groping and other inappropriate behavior. These allegations led to Quiquerez stepping down from his role at the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 20.

PGL, another major Counter-Strike tournament organizer, has responded by removing Quiquerez from their roster of talents.
In a statement to Dust2.dk, PGL confirmed, “He [Maniac] is no longer a part of the talent group for our events.” Quiquerez has previously worked on several PGL events, including the PGL Majors in Stockholm, Antwerp and Copenhagen.

ESL also addressed the situation, stating via Esports.gg:
– We are aware of allegations made against an on-broadcast talent who has appeared on EFG’s analyst desk this year. While this incident did not take place at an EFG event, the safety of fans, players, and staff is our No. 1 priority. We are investigating the matter, and moving forward, the talent will no longer be part of the ongoing broadcast of ESL Pro League.
