The Counter-Strike legend Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen has been picked up by Preasy to round off their roster, the Danish organization revealed this Thursday. The 30-year-old rifler is set to replace the powerful AWPer Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi, who signed for Heroic earlier this month.
The Counter-Strike legend and the one and only 5-time Major winner is here! Please welcome @dupreeh to Preasy Esport.

No permanent AWPer
The transfer of dupreeh means that Preasy will play without a permanent AWPer going forward. In a comment to HLTV, Preasy head coach, Daniel Vorborg explains the decision.
– We think [the AWP] has gotten relatively weaker, and we’ve found a playstyle less dependent on it. That being said, against certain playstyles it’s still very strong, so we will continue to whip it out as required.”
Major in Copenhagen coming up
Although having won five Major titles in his career, dupreeh assures that he’s still extremely hungry for more, as he set his sights on the upcoming Major in Copenhagen next year.
-Preasy and I share a dream; reaching the first ever Copenhagen Major. I wouldn’t want to let the chance of at least trying to get there slip away. After all, I’ve played a couple of Majors, and I can’t sit on the sidelines watching knowing what could’ve been, dupreeh wrote in a post on X.
In the same post, dupreeh also describes how this off-season hasn’t been ideal for him, but at the same time that he’s happy that he can help develop and grassroot Danish CS.
-The offseason has been complicated with last minute changes at finalized negotiations and decisions above my head with Tier1 teams that didn’t play out in my favor. The RMR rules certainly didn’t help
-I like the people behind Preasy and I love the idea that I can use my experience and skills to help this talented team and Danish grassroot CS to take a shot at reaching the major on home soil. Even though I know, we are not going in as favorites.
