NIP embarrass Astralis on Nuke; Fnatic upset 3DMAX

"We should have won bigger", is what NIP's own sjuush said after a convincing win over Astralis. "We lost both pistols and threw some rounds as well".

Astralis managed only 3 gun rounds in a 10-13 loss.

“We should have won bigger”, is what NIP’s own sjuush said after a convincing win over Astralis. “We lost both pistols and threw some rounds as well”.

NIP and Astralis met on their preferred map of Nuke – Astralis’s best map in terms of win-rate at 67%.

Astralis started on CT-side where they won the pistol and the conversion on the back of a cool device 1v2 clutch.

Astralis had early control of the map but NIP wrested it back, taking 4 of the next 5 gun rounds with aggressive outside plays from xKacpersky.

NIP then took the lead by making Astralis uncomfortable both on outside and the A-site, taking a 7-5 lead.

Astralis then won the pistol and conversions again in close fashion, but NIP took control back easily. A sjuush 3k hold of A looked like the death of Astralis.

However, Magisk had a huge 2v4 round to keep Astralis alive in round 22, however, it was not enough as NIP replied with their own 2v2 late-round win.

Fnatic best 3DMAX on Inferno

Fnatic also boldly opted to go into 3DMAX’s best statistical map, with a 71% win-rate. This time, the Stage 1 experience came out on top, as 3DMAX got off to a good start, but Fnatic rolled over them from a 2-5 scoreline to a 6-13.

A crushing 4k from blameF closed the first half, while jackasmo and jambo stepped up in the second half to annihilate 3DMAX on their favorite map.
