Ninjas in Pyjamas have completed the acquisition of Adam “adamb” Ångström from OG, moving academy graduate Roman “n0te” Hamze to the bench to clear room for the 21-year-old Swedish rifler. The signing marks the ninth different player to represent the organization on the active roster in 2026 alone, highlighting a relentless period of transition.
Continuous restructuring throughout 2026
The Swedish organization has operated with an evolving lineup throughout the year. The addition of adamb follows closely behind another major transition in early September, when Karim “Krimbo” Moussa arrived on loan from BIG to take over as the in-game leader. That move came two days after Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer was benched on August 31.
The summer period featured heavy departures as well. Artem “cairne” Mushynskyi moved to fnatic on July 1 after being benched in mid-June, Tiago “ewjerkz” Yorio left the team on June 30, and Artem “r1nkle” Moroz finalized a transfer to G2 on June 25. Prior to that, Martin “stavn” Lund was brought in on April 15, while Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara made the permanent move to NIP earlier this year as well.
Across nine months, cairne, Snappi, ewjerkz, r1nkle, stavn, xKacpersky, n0te, Krimbo, and now adamb have all factored into the active five as the organization searches for competitive stability.
Immediate five-match test at Logitech G Play Connect
The latest iteration of the roster will receive no grace period to adjust, entering official competition on September 17 with five matches lined up at Logitech G Play Connect.
Krimbo’s squad opens the day against North American squad M80. Following that initial contest, NIP will contest fixtures against B8, Swedish rivals Metizport, GamerLegion, and Luminosity.
