NiKo and G2 Esports are your IEM Katowice champions, the mixed European team stood tall against the Danes from Heroic who once again ended up second at the big event. The newly crowned champions won the series 3-1 after a close affair on all four maps.
For NiKo it is a special day. Normally we say the third time’s the charm but for NiKo the fourth time is his lucky charm. The famous rifler talked with ESL following their victory.
– After Inferno, I had a lot of flashbacks. This is the first time I cried in my career. I am really happy right now, it is an amazing feeling. I have been really patient in my career and I have been in many finals where I lost many of them. hopefully this year everything turns around, NiKo said after winning the IEM Katowice 2023.
