The 2025 iteration of Falcons has finally shown signs of real promise, as Nikola “NiKo” Kovač and his new squad secured a Grand Final spot at PGL Cluj-Napoca. The Saudi-backed organization delivered an impressive performance in the semifinal, taking down FaZe in a 2-0 sweep to book their place in the championship match.

Falcons Edge Out FaZe in Dust2 Thriller

The series kicked off on Dust2, where both teams engaged in a back-and-forth battle. The match was tightly contested, with neither side able to pull away decisively. In the end, Falcons held their nerve to clinch a hard-fought 13-11 victory, setting the stage for a dominant performance on the second map.

Once again, it was NiKo who proved to be the difference-maker for Falcons. The Bosnian superstar delivered a stellar 25-14 K-D score, showcasing his mechanical brilliance and clutch ability when it mattered most. His leadership and firepower propelled Falcons through the tense moments, securing their map pick in a nail-biting finish.

Falcons Dominate Ancient to Secure Grand Final Spot

Heading into Ancient, FaZe needed to mount a strong response to keep their tournament hopes alive. The first half saw both teams trading rounds, but after the switch, Falcons took full control. Their CT side was impenetrable, and FaZe struggled to find any openings. With relentless pressure and near-flawless execution, Falcons stormed to a convincing 13-6 victory, closing out the series in dominant fashion.

This performance marks a significant step forward for Falcons as they aim to establish themselves among the world’s elite. With NiKo leading the charge, the team has finally shown they can compete at the highest level.

Falcons now set their sights on the Grand Final, where they will face MOUZ in a battle for the PGL Cluj-Napoca title. With $400,000 on the line, NiKo and his teammates will have the chance to make history when they take the stage tomorrow at 17:00 CET.
