Most CS:GO players have tried it at some point. Buying a CS:GO skin or trying to pack one in a case. Some even consider it as a form of investment.
The latter seems to be a thing after it was reported by Globoesporte, that a Dragon Lore skin has been sold for a staggering $151.000. Four Titan Holo stickers from the EMS 2014 Katowice event was added to increase the value.
In the summer of 2020, another weapon was sold for a value of over $100k.
Apparently, a Chinese collector just purchased this 4x IBP 0.003 ST Howl for $130,000 in cash. If this amount turns out to be true, it sets the new record as the biggest cash trade in CS:GO history. pic.twitter.com/7Vu3wbXFqE
