Later this Sunday, The MongolZ will step onto the stage at Moody Center for the biggest match of their careers.
With a shot at lifting the BLAST.tv Austin Major trophy, the Mongolian squad is set to take on Vitality in what promises to be a fierce Grand Final in Texas.
It’s a moment that’s still hard to wrap his head around, Ayush “mzinho” Batbold admits.
– I was just a kid watching Counter-Strike, now I’m on a stage and have made it to the Majo grand final. I’m so happy, the Mongolian rifler told Pley after beating paiN last night.

In our post-match interview, mzinho spoke about the huge support from the Mongolian fans and what it means to play with a whole nation behind them.
– Right now, everyone goes crazy in our country, cheering on us. The whole nation is behind us. It feels so honoured to be a national team and to have the whole nation cheering for us. That means a lot. (…) Bringing the trophy to Mongolia would mean a lot.
mzinho did not shy away from calling it the biggest achievement in Mongolian team sports.
– As a team sport, I think this is the biggest. Individually, I think judo has made it further.
The Grand Final at BLAST.tv Austin Major between The MongolZ and Vitality will commence at 21:30 (CEST) this Sunday.
