One of the big question marks at IEM Katowice was the MOUZ roster. After a winter overhaul of the roster, the team had to replace Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras shortly before the event due to Covid-19. In his place, MOUZ picked one of the bright talents from the MOUZ NXT roster, Jon “JDC” de Castro.
The German got off to a great start with a fine performance against GODSENT on Nuke. MOUZ won the first half 12-3 and left GODSENT with few chances to try and make the comeback in the second half. MOUZ won 16-8 in the match, where another former MOUZ NXT player Ádám ‘torzsi’ Torzsás ended on the top of the scoreboard with a solid 22-16 K-D.
