MOUZ advanced to the semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 21 after narrowly defeating G2 in a thrilling quarter-final clash, securing a tight 13-11 victory on Ancient. The decisive map showcased MOUZ’s determination as they overcame a challenging 9-11 deficit in a gripping finish. The German-based Organization completed a reverse sweep after losing Inferno 13-11.

Dominant Start and G2’s Resilient Comeback

MOUZ initially established control on Ancient, racing ahead with an early 8-1 lead. However, G2 demonstrated remarkable resilience, driven by standout performances from stars like Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač, who executed critical clutch scenarios to swing momentum back in their favor.

Despite losing their substantial lead, MOUZ regrouped strategically under Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin’s leadership, executing disciplined CT-side rounds to halt G2’s momentum and secure the final two crucial rounds, ultimately sealing the match 13-11.

MOUZ Strengthen Their Nuke Record

MOUZ further solidified their reputation on Nuke, earning their fifth consecutive victory on the map. Their reliable CT-side defense proved decisive, converting a strong start into a comfortable win and significantly boosting their confidence heading into their upcoming semi-final encounter.

Semi-Final Showdown Against Spirit

Looking ahead, MOUZ now face Spirit, who previously struggled against Eternal Fire. MOUZ however will be the underdogs going into the Semi-Final having lost their last two rendezvous against Spirit.
