MOUZ and Legacy secure semi-final berths at CS Asia Championships 2026

The quarter-final stage of the CS Asia Championships 2026 concluded on Friday with MOUZ and Legacy advancing to the final four. Both teams navigated closely contested series to join Falcons and MIBR in the semi-finals.

MOUZ outlast B8 in extended Ancient battle

MOUZ secured their semi-final position following a 2-0 victory over B8. The European squad opened the series with a steady 13-8 win on the first map. The competition intensified significantly on Ancient, as B8 pushed the series into double overtime. MOUZ ultimately secured the map 22-20 to close out the match.

The victory marks a complete turnaround for MOUZ at the tournament. After suffering an initial loss to TYLOO in the opening round, the roster has maintained an undefeated run through the lower bracket and into the playoffs. They will face Falcons in the first semi-final match.

MOUZ’ new in-game leader Dorian “xertioN” Berman once again ended the match as the highest-rated player. The Israeli has showcased one of the rare examples of a player increasing his level after taking over the IGL role on a team. The in-game leader is the third-highest rated player at the entire event with a 1.35 rating.

Legacy eliminate The MongolZ in deciding map clutch

Legacy claimed the final spot in the top four after defeating The MongolZ 2-1 in the second quarter-final. The Brazilian squad established an early advantage by taking Inferno 13-11. The MongolZ answered back on Mirage, securing a 13-10 win to push the series to a third map.

The decider on Nuke was closely fought throughout regulation. The match was decided in the 23rd round when Bruno ‘latto’ Rebelatto secured a 1v3 clutch, finalizing the map at 13-10 for Legacy. The result ends The MongolZ run at the Tier 1 event in their home region, while Legacy advances to play MIBR in the next round.
