There are some very interesting possible matchups in store, when the American RMR tournament is played out in Bucharest, Romania in April.
Eight teams have emerged from the South American qualification tournament, where Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s new project, Imperial Esports was one of the teams making the cut. 00 Nation with Marcelo “coldzera” David on the team is also ready for the RMR event next month.
The eight teams join FURIA and seven North American qualifiers. Here Team Liquid will be one of the teams trying to qualify. The NA team lost their seeding after changing three out of five players on their roster. There is still no official confirmation, but it is expected that GODSENT and paiN Gaming will be automatically qualified to leave only five spots for the North American qualifiers, which will commence on Thursday.
