After a disappointing showing this week, Complexity have been eliminated from the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
The North Americans came in as heavy favourites to advance from Stage 1 — even with a stand-in — but failed to deliver when it mattered. On Thursday, their campaign came to an end with a third and final loss in Texas.
The knockout blow came at the hands of TYLOO, who took down Complexity 2-0 on Train and Inferno. A massive letdown for a team expected to perform on home soil.
Other matches
Elsewhere in the bracket, OG, BetBoom, and Nemiga booked tickets to Stage 2 after coming out on top in their respective 2-1 matches.
OG took down NRG in a clean sweep, BetBoom outclassed Wildcard, and Nemiga closed the day with a strong win over FlyQuest.
The two other teams that were eliminated yesterday ended up being Imperial and Chinggis Warriors. You can see the results and standings down below.
