Liquid eliminate Astralis from the Budapest Major

"It's difficult to be in good form with everything that's going on," HooXi said after the match.

“It’s difficult to be in good form with everything that’s going on,” HooXi said after the match.

“We didn’t show up at all,” HooXi said after the match about their loss. “It was a shutdown from the other side.”

“This is what we should do in Stage 3,” NertZ added in his interview. “Play with balls.”

The match kicked off on Astralis’s pick of Nuke, where Liquid galloped to a huge lead. An 11-1 opening CT-side was powered by an incredible Roland ‘ultimate’ Tomkowiak, who went 19-3. This was a far cry from the Pole’s lackluster start in this Stage 2.

The second map was closer, thanks to Astralis winning the crucial opening rounds of each half. Gun rounds were more difficult for them to get, as HooXi was being exploited on B site. On the Liquid side, both of their sites were strong.

Liquid move onto Stage 3, where the playoff teams will be decided.
