jcobbb shines as FaZe take down Aurora

FaZe's rookie signing finally pays dividends, as he top-fragged to send Aurora down to 1-1.

FaZe’s rookie signing finally pays dividends, as he top-fragged to send Aurora down to 1-1.

“On Dust2 I have my old roles I was playing for a year”, jcobbb said after the match. “I still need more experience, I’m still a little bit nervous”.

In this map, jcobbb had several impactful rounds as an entry fragger, finding multiple headshots in disadvantaged situations. On top of that, he won a 1v2 retake to bring FaZe close to victory.

Aurora started on the CT-side, but were repeatedly beaten by FaZe’s A executes. Despite broky getting only 4 kills in the whole map, jcobbb’s T side entrying and Twistzz’s CT-side overperformance secured it.

Passion UA quell a stellar kl1m

On the B-stream, Passion UA took down an MiBR, carried by a rampant kl1m. It looked as if the game was going to be a stomp for Passion, but kl1m kicked it up a notch to make it competitive and a 6-6 half on Mirage.

It took the most from Passion UA to defeat MiBR in a close matchup where the best player on the server was on the worse team.
