It’s been over a year since Valve released a new Operation in CS:GO, with the latest one dating back to September 2021 being “Riptide”.
The developers from Valve still haven’t made any confirmation about the date release of a new CS:GO Operation, which is why many CS:GO fans are speculating right now.
Here’s a list of Operations that CS:GO has had since 2015:
Operation Riptide – September 21, 2021
Operation Broken Fang – December 3, 2020
Operation Shattered Web – November 18, 2019
Operation Hydra – May 23, 2017
Operation Wildfire – February 17, 2016
Operation Bloodhound – May 26, 2015
Operation Vanguard – November 11, 2014
Operation Breakout – July 1, 2014
Operation Phoenix – February 20, 2014
Operation Bravo – September 19, 2013
Operation Payback – April 25, 2013
When we look at the previous release dates, it’s clear that the developers from Valve like to take around an eight-month break between releases of new operations. That’s why the next CS:GO Operation might come at some point in early 2023.
CS:GO fans expect and wish for the next Operation to arrive before the end of this month. However, don’t be surprised if the developers decide to release it at a later date.
During CS events, participants often wear custom lanyards that display their names and affiliations or perhaps even their favorite operation from Counter-Strike. These personalised lanyards help foster connections and make it easy to identify team members. The organizers often have ordered custom lanyards in bulk, ensuring that everyone is able to carry their favorite team or affiliation.
