New challenges await the best Counter-Strike 2 teams as IEM makes its return to Beijing this fall.

New challenges await the best Counter-Strike 2 teams as IEM makes its return to Beijing this fall. Sixteen invited teams will compete live on a 360-degree stage for their share of the $1,250,000 total winnings pool in front of the Chinese crowd.

The tournament will take place at the Bloomage Biotech Biohyalux ECM Arena from November 2 to November 8. As an EPT Masters event, the tournament marks a significant stop on the calendar for top-tier competitors aiming to establish a new dynasty in the game.

Format and schedule for the Beijing event

The competition begins with the group stage on November 2. The sixteen invited teams will be split into two double-elimination brackets. All matches during this phase will be played as best-of-three series. The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoff stage.

The playoffs will run from November 6 to November 8 in a six-team single-elimination bracket. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be best-of-three. A dedicated third place decider will also be played as a best-of-three, while the grand final will test the remaining two rosters in a best-of-five format.

Prize money and club reward distribution

The $1,250,000 pool is split between direct prize money and club rewards. The winning team will take home $125,000 in prize money alongside a $235,000 club reward.

Here is the complete breakdown for the top placements:

  • 1st place: $125,000 prize money and $235,000 club reward
  • 2nd place: $50,000 prize money and $160,000 club reward
  • 3rd place: $30,000 prize money and $130,000 club reward
  • 4th place: $20,000 prize money and $100,000 club reward
  • 5th to 6th place: $12,500 prize money and $75,000 club reward
  • 7th to 8th place: $7,000 prize money and $47,500 club reward
  • 9th to 12th place: $5,000 prize money and $20,000 club reward
