Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen didn’t hold back when talking about his former teammate Nikola “NiKo” Kovač in a recent episode of the podcast All About Counter-Strike, hosted by James Banks and Devilwalk.
The Danish in-game leader made a bold claim about NiKo’s future potential — not as a rifler, but as a future IGL.
– The day NiKo retires from being a star player and becomes an IGL, he will instantly become the best IGL in the world, 100%. Which is crazy.
HooXi, who played with NiKo during his time on G2, praised the Bosnian superstar for his deep understanding of the game and especially his feel for mid-round situations.
– He understands the game on a different level. It’s completely crazy the way he understands mid-rounds, and he’s just so quick with it. I have no doubt that he will be an IGL at some point, HooXi said.
NiKo is currently playing under kyxsan’s leadership on Falcons, while HooXi is sitting on the sidelines after his benching on G2.
