Konstantin “groove” Piknier has left his position as Sports Director at Gambit, the Russian organization confirms on Twitter this Wednesday evening. The 39-year-old Russian will instead take on a coaching role for the star-studded CIS youngsters.

groove is no stranger to the coaching job with him having coached both Gambit Youngsters and the main team for several occasions, before taking a job in Gambit’s upper management.
Most recently, groove has taken over as head coach from Ivan “F_1N” Kochugov, due to his suspension for all Valve-organized events, which he received together with his ESIC ban.
