G2 closed out the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 group stage with a convincing 2-0 victory over The MongolZ, claiming the final spot in the playoffs and locking in the full bracket.
After falling to Eternal Fire in the upper bracket, G2 fought their way through the lower bracket with back-to-back wins over M80 and The MongolZ. The final series ended with scorelines of 13-11 on Ancient and 13-4 on Dust2, with strong performances from m0NESY and HeavyGod leading the way.
With the win, G2 advance to the quarterfinals where they’ll face MOUZ on Friday evening at the MEO Arena. The other quarterfinal will see Spirit take on NAVI, while Vitality and Eternal Fire await in the semifinals after topping their respective groups.
