The group stage of Yalla Compass 2024 concluded last night, with The MongolZ and FURIA finishing at the top of Group A and Group B, respectively.
In Group A, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Astralis secured their spots in the playoffs with records of 4-1 and 3-2, surpassing HEROIC, ENCE, and Sashi. In Group B, FURIA clinched a semi-final berth by winning four out of five games, thereby eliminating Complexity, Eternal Fire, and BIG. BetBoom and Fnatic also advanced to the playoffs.
Individually, Benjamin “blameF” Bremer and Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato led the rankings with impressive ratings of 1.35 after the five group stage matches.
The tournament continues today with the quarter-finals. BetBoom and Astralis will kick off the playoffs, followed by a classic rivalry match between NIP and Fnatic later in the day.
