Fnatic make it past NRG and to Stage 2

Despite a crushing loss on map 1, Fnatic rallied to defeat NRG in close fashion.

Despite a crushing loss on map 1, Fnatic rallied to defeat NRG in close fashion.

BlameF and jackasmo combined to push Fnatic through to the second stage of the Major. It looked dire when daps topped the board on Mirage to crush Fnatic 13-3.

In this 2-1 game, both teams have had impressive wins but looked shaky. Especially NRG, who were playing with their coach, daps, instead of their in-game leader.

In another impressive performance, daps was one of the main fraggers in NRG’s destruciton of Fnatic on Mirage, not even their map pick.

Once it switched to Inferno, the first half was much closer. BlameF was key in providing Fnatic with crucial rounds to keep their lead. The eventually closed it out 13-10.

Dust2 was another close affair. NRG put up a fight, but Fnatic’s default-heavy T-side proved devastating, as recent addition jackasmo went nuclear.

They took the map 13-9 and secured their spot in Stage 2.
